In the Bag: Cooking the Month of May

I hope you don't mind me drumming up a little interest on this one. This is a brand new seasonal event hosted by myself, Cherry from Cherry's English Kitchen and Scott at Real Epicurean. Each month we will choose three seasonal ingredients for you to invent a dish, and will take it in turns to host the event. This month I'm hosting the event and we've chosen asparagus, sea trout and spring onions. Check out my post here.

As we're UK based bloggers the ingredients we choose each month are seasonal to the UK, so this event should be of interest mainly to UK food bloggers. I hope to see lots of you join in and I'm looking forward to seeing what you come up with! The closing date is Saturday 26th May.

You should plug it and unashamedly so. I can't get hold of any sea trout though - any suggestions? Amanda

Hi Amanda, I replied to your email. I got some from the fresh fish counter at my local Sainsburys yesterday. It's cooking as I type, so check out my blog later for my entry!
