How to do a Recipe Index???

This Post was written by Marie from Maries Muses
I notice that alot of you have recipe indexes on your pages. I have been thinking and thinking about how I can do that on my own. I have quite a few recipes on there now and it's a real pain going back through post after post to find them. Can anyone help me? (always remembering that I am technologically challenged! TIA!

Let's start you off with posting links.

Use the following code: <a href="http://...[the url to link to]">[name of the link]</a>

As an example, this code links to me:

<a href="http://http://www.aidanbrooks.blogspot.com/">Aidan Brooks: Trainee Chef</a>

That will give you a neat link. If you want to display a url and it's too long, use Tiny URL to generate a shortened version. It's free (paid by adverts) and works really well.

For finding your own old postings, I used to always forget about the general facility to search your own blog, at the top left hand corner.
