Trip to Cornwall
This Post was written by Maninas from Maninas: Food Matters
Hi everyone!
I'm off to the beautiful Cornwall for a week at the end of July. Any tips, suggestions, recommendations on places to visit, restaurants to try, foods to sample? Much appreciated! Ta!

fowey - is a joy, I often stay there. In the centre is a superb local fish shop - fresh caught stuff. there is also a great little deli whose owners son runs a great funky restaurant a couple of doors down. I think another son is a fisherman who provides the restaurants fish.
The pub down on the stilts, i forget the name, is rubbish... dont bother climbing the steps.
I live in North Cornwall so could prob suggest a few places. Where will you be based?? Here are a few to start with.. Lost Gardens of Helligan near St Austell, Eden Project near St Austell, Tintagel North Cornwall, Lanhydrock House near Bodmin, Bude (thats where I live so bit biased!!), Boscastle. Id be happy to suggest some places to eat when I know where you'll be staying. Let me know x
thanks very much for your suggestions, guys!
Beth, I think i discovered a treasure of information in you! :D We will be based in the lovely St Ives, staying in Skidden House. Not just because it was the first place to sell Guiness in Britain (allegedly). :D
